May Artist at Muse Winery - Lynda McKewan - Geometric Abstract Formalism
Meet the Artist - Saturday May 14th 12 - 4 pm
Join us in May to take in the work of Lynda McKewan and meet her May 14th @ Muse 12-4 pm.
"I love painting squares. Colours glow. Lines shimmer. Light the concrete!
I am fascinated by early abstract geometric form and colour theory. My paintings explore and repeat patterns. I delight in the phenominological properties of colour. I am a "pattern profiler" and enjoy both simple and complex forms. Sometimes, the art looks very big and I want to give others the opportunity to get lost up close, or gaze serenely from a distance.
My art has been called hard edge, colour science, colour maddness, and even puzzles........fun puzzles, from another time......
I feel successful when people engage and are delighted with the work."
