Bistro Muse Bistro Muse - Last day Sept. 19th! Fall will bring to a close the season for Bistro Muse! Make sure to visit the Bistro to sample the culinary delights of intimate alfresco open-air dining patio nestled next to our vineyard. Relax on a sunny afternoon sipping wine and nibbling on some of our house specialties or weekly specials. We also have limited indoor seating for those chillier days. We take pride in our fun & flirtatious approach to inventive food packed with fabulous flavours from the abundance of Vancouver Island. Here's a sneak peak at a few of the wonderful new culinary creations by Doug Stuart. Weekly Musings Each week our Chef will be preparing new specials to tantalize your taste buds. Constant Musings Inspired Muse Greens Our signature salad of Kildara organic greens, chick peas, carrots, , Saltspring Island chevre & sunflower sprouts, drizzled with orange sesame vinaigrette and sprinkled with pumpkin seeds and dried cranberries. Tasting Plates to Share Choose a tasting plate with cheeses from your favourite region, Saltspring Island, Qualicum Beach or Comox Valley, served with a blackcurrant/shallot compote and a pear/ginger blend & sliced baguette. Add the Charcuterie selection of sliced meats served with cranberry mustard. Served in a choice of sizes, with or without Charcuterie choices. Mermaid Musings Will she start with The Seafood Chowder of wild salmon, baby prawns, clams, potatoes, bacon & vegetables, or perhaps The Seafood Salad with Kildara organic greens, fresh crab, prawns, wild salmon, avocado, or instead, An Amusing plate of Prawns sautéed in sesame oil, soy sauce & fresh ginger, served with a baguette. There will be a fantastic selection from the sea this season. Winemaker's Special Slow smoked mesquite baby back ribs served with Muse greens. Artisan Breads & Spreads A basket of fresh artisan breads served with a trio of spreads for dipping. Sweet Treats A trio of sweetness to choose from - Berry Delicious, Dark Decadence or Chilly Vanilly. Liquid Musings The marriage of food & wine forms a blissful bond.
